Workspace 1.7 brings new features and integrations
New Workspace 1.7 includes feature enhancements for merchants, web developers, system integrators and hosting companies. Support for new payments systems and ready-made ERP integrations further improve the position of Workspace as the preferred e-commerce platform.
Smilehouse Workspace 1.7 includes the following new features:
- More power for merchants
Support for new payment systems (Nordea Denmark and ChronoPay) enable receiving payments from customers using their local systems. New ready-made integrations (ProCountor, Netbaron, SugarCRM, Froogle and eBay) enable fast implementations of integrated solutions.
- Better tools for web developers
Workspace can now be built to be fully valid HTML 4.01 Transitional. In addition the support for CSS stylesheets has been improved. In practice the whole web shop outlook can now be managed using CSS. To make shop building even faster, new ready-made CSS files can be downloaded from Smilehouse website.
- New Connector Packs for system integrators
New OpenSyncro Connector Packs enable building integrated solutions easily. New Connector Packs were developed for the following systems / services: ProCountor, Netbaron, SugarCRM, Froogle ja eBay.
- Additional documentation for hosting
Windows installer now attempts to set up JAVA_HOME, CATALINA_HOME and CLASSPATH environment variables automatically if any of the variable values is empty (unspecified). Also new HOWTO -documents were created to give step-by-step installation instructions.
